"Husband on Cardio ward 26"

Most of the care my husband has had so far by the nurses has been wonderful.

One doctor, however leaves a lot to be desired.

After two failed attempts to fit a cannula (tried both arms) they finally got it in.

It was only just in though because it was hanging loose and my husband kept catching it. The first two attempts had to be swabbed clean.

The doctor raked through the tray they were using, found the dirty swab and reused it to clean up all the blood on his other arm.

And they wonder why germs are rife.
