"A hospital stay for life changing..."

What I liked

I stayed on Ward 3 for plastic surgery just before Christmas, and I cannot praise this hospital enough. All the staff on this ward were fantastic, nothing was too much trouble for them and the care I received was exceptional. All the nurses (of all grades) were friendly and explained everything they were doing beforehand. The theatre nurse and anaethetist were also amazing, they really put me at ease. I was in theatre a long time and my family came to evening visiting, and because I wasn't back from theatre they reassured them and let them sit in the day room until I returned. My surgeon and his team were fantastic - my surgery has been totally life changing and I can't thank them enough. There is absolutely nothing that I can say that is negative about my stay at RPH, if ever anyone is going for plastic surgery here, they should be thankful for such a ward with such fantastic staff!
