About: Whipps Cross University Hospital / Maternity

I just wanted to give a little recommendation as I was apprehensive myself about giving birth at Whipps after hearing lots of not-so-great feedback.

I gave birth at Whipps on the 11th and can hands down say every single part of having a baby with Whipps - antenatal care, labour ward and postnatal was far beyond my expectations. Every member of staff was caring, knowledgable and attentive. My birth experience (a VBAC - so not straightforward) was incredible even though it wasn't perfect - everyone was on board to give me the absolute best birth possible and really wanted to give me autonomy to chose what I wanted. The postnatal ward was fantastic - they couldn't do enough for me and baby got a lot of cuddles from lovely midwives! The caring just radiated from everyone I came into contact with, from the midwives to the doctors to the staff who bring you breakfast!

A massive 10/10 for our fantastic local hospital!
