"Maternity Unit"

As a first time Mum I was unsure about what to expect and was understandably nervous but the delivery suite exceeded all of my expectations!

From the first phone call to her unit right until the minute I was discharged I felt reassured and comfortable. The midwife looking after myself (and my husband) was called Mariedh and I cannot praise her highly enough. Not only did she help keep me calm and ensure I had everything I needed, she did the same for my husband who felt like a fish out of water. Nothing seemed to be too much trouble.

Mariedh was amazing during labour, delivery and gave me fantastic advice/help with breastfeeding my newborn son. Claire was the second midwife in the room during delivery and she was also brilliant. Both midwifes made sure we were both as comfortable as possible and were very professional throughout. After delivery I required a little extra attention, so Claire looked after me whilst Mariedh looked after my son. Mainly, they safely delivered our beautiful little boy and for this I will be forever grateful!
