About: Whipps Cross University Hospital / Maternity

I gave birth to my son here a couple of months ago after my contractions started early at 33weeks and 5days.

I honestly can’t thank everyone enough, everyone was kind, professional and made the experience as bearable as possible. Especially the student midwifes that took extra care to look afte me at birth. We were always informed about all decisions made.

My son also has to be in special care baby unit for 17 days, the experience was made easier because of the high standard of care given by all the members of staff in the unit.

It might not be the most glamorous or high tech hospital but I would highly recommend it to everyone.
