"A big thank you"

About: Northwick Park Hospital / Accident and emergency

IMy husband was taken to A&E by ambulance on the 28/11/17 suffering from shortness of breath very low oxygen and very high blood sugar levals the ambulance crew were very professional but at the same time comforted my husband and myself, on arriving at Northwick park a team were waiting for him and worked very hard to get oxygen into him and his temperature down, as you can imagine this was a very worrying time. I must thank the Doctor looking after him and nurse for their kindness.

my husband was admitted to Dryden Ward and then on to Gaskell Ward where he was treated by the most amazing staff that were busy all the time and always ready to help with kindness and a smile,

Thank you

Thank you for leaving your feedback about your husband's care when he was brought to A&E on 28 November and later on the wards. It is very heartening to hear when we get it right.

We would be delighted to hear the names of the the exceptional staff. Please contact the PALS team on 0208 869 5118 or LNWH-tr.PALS@nhs.net. However, our staff awards are also currently open and if you would like to make a nomination, please visit: http://www.lnwh.nhs.uk/about-us/staff-excellence-awards-2018/. Meanwhile, I have shared your kind words with the teams.

I hope your husband is now recovering well.

Kind regards

Pam
