About: Macclesfield District General Hospital / Accident and emergency

Today I was taken by ambulance to A&E after find blood in my stoma bag. The hospital is having a lot of work done and the poor staff were run ragged trying to find places to put patients. There was queue of patients waiting to be booked in but under the circumstances all the staff were amazing, helpful and friendly. They apologised for the wait which was 4 hours. I know our NHS is in a mess but if it wasn't for the dedicated staff it would be in a bigger one. A big THANK YOU to everyone today for looking after me and putting my mind at rest, you are amazing.
