My father was admitted with a subdural haematoma, aged 91.
The A & E Consultant was excellent and very kind to my father and I, giving us plenty of information.
Subsequently my father ended up being cared for in 5 different wards over a period of 7 weeks.
All the nursing staff were exceptional, dealing with all manner of complications that arose.
My father was initially paralysed but, after some wonderful nursing, he walked out of hospital, albeit a bit shaky, at the end of the treatment.
I would just like to thank you all very much for caring so well for a 91 year old man, who I believed was knocking on heavens gate!
He is now back at home living on his own and coping very well.
Many thanks
"Care of my father"
