"Alcohol journey"

About: Inclusion Visions Thurrock (Drug & Alcohol Recovery Service)

(as a service user),

I needed help, I was referred by my GP to inclusion visions.

I attended weekly key working with my key worker Mike, who helped me plan a phased reduction in my alcohol consumption.

I have now reached a level where I feel that I have it under control.

onwards and upwards.

My treatment at Inclusion visions has been a key step in turning my life around.

anyone who has problems like mine should have no hesitation in seeking their help

My keyworker Mike has been instrumental in helping me through this difficult period. my thanks to all the staff at Thurrock inclusion visions.

Hi JimmyJ

Thank you for taking the time to add your story.

It sounds like you've put a lot of hard work in and made really positive changes for yourself...as you say onwards and upwards. Fantastic that you have turned your life around after a difficult period, something to be very proud of.

I am so glad that you found the support from the team, in particular your keyworker Mike helpful. I will pass that on.

Thank you for encouraging others to seek help should they need it. Hopefully by reading your story they will be inspired to when they see what you have achieved.

I wish you all the best with your ongoing recovery

Emer
