was brought into A&E by ambulence following a serious RTC caused back injury and was sent home 6 hours later on the monday with no advice, treatment plan and just a handful of pain killers
late on thursday I get an urgent call and was told by a secretrary that I had fractured a vertebrae and I should come come back on the friday morning.
Stayed in the hospital 9 hours on friday and was seen by a dr for just 3 minutes. They never bothered to tell me what was up with me or what I supposed to be doing.
They said I needed an urgent MRI scan but after 9 hours with no scan, info or consultantation I left.
they still can't tell me if or when I will get my mri scan but keep telling me it is urgent.
however, the real frustrating thing is that during all my time there no one actually cared about me, my welfare or my comfort,
I suspect the hospital would prefer their vitims to remain silent and patient so that all the administrative processes can drag on without the inconvenience of informed consent.
