About: Tameside General Hospital / Accident and emergency

(as the patient),

I booked myself into A&E as I woke in the early hours with terrible abdominal pains radiating into my back.

The staff were great,  very professional and I felt very well looked after.  I had to wait 2 hours to be seen but it's a busy department and staff are clearly working very hard. I was seen and examined, bloods taken, urine taken and finally discharged with the reassurance that the pains were not life threatening.  

I'd like to say a big thank  you to all the staff. You do a great job. I'm proud of my NHS.
