Wow. What an incredible team at the Rosie. I spent a week in the hospital experiencing Sara ward, the delivery unit and Lady Mary ward and I got to know each very well! Each had the most amazing, dedicated and hard working midwives imaginable. It's hard to describe just how hard these people (and their wonderful support staff) work. They were constantly on the go and on many occasions having to deal with patients who were extremely demanding and didn't understand that they weren't the only ones on the ward!
I certainly would not have the patience to deal with the moaning and in fact, rudeness of some patients! There really is no excuse, even with the worry and pain of childbirth!
Excellent welcome for fathers- It was so wonderful to have my husband with me each night.
Overall, the Rosie staff managed to make a stressful week a really enjoyable experience- we were almost sad to leave!
We can't thank you enough for the excellent, first-rate care provided. We'd recommend the Rosie in a heart beat.
