"Nursing is a credit to the hospital"

I am currently writing this from one of the wards and have been here since Sunday afternoon and I just want to say that in the two wards I have been on the care and respect nurses have shown to staff has completely changed my oppinion of this hospital. I am sat opposite two elderly ladies and have witnessed such humanity and warmth shown to them that it really has made me smile. As far as my own care has gone it has been absolutly faultless and even though my case is a little complex nothing has been too much trouble for any of the nurses or care staff.

I think sometimes people are quick to mention the negative stuff but their are staff here that are working incredibly hard for all of their patients without exception.

All I can say is some of the nursing I have experienced and witness in the past few days is an absolute credit to the hospital.
