"Attending out of hours gdoc"

About: Aberdeen forresterhill hospital

(as the patient),

I was visiting Aberdeen for 4 days and became very ill my sister rang the gdoc sand I was given an appt for 3 hours later apparently better to sit at home and wait to be seen than sit in busy dept full of people couldn’t agree more, ! On arrival quick check in 5 min wait then seen by a male nurse practitioner very thorough and reassuring and given much needed antibiotics and sent home only to return 2 more times   seeing 2 different drs but again first class and needed change of antibiotics I have returned to kent now but cannot praise you all enough   thank You all from the bottom of my heart.

Thanks for your feedback Nanatash.

I’m sorry your visit to Aberdeen was interrupted by illness but glad that nurse practitioner and doctors at GMED helped you to recover well enough to return home.

I will pass your lovely comments to the lead nurse at GMED for sharing with the team, as it’s always nice for them to know that they are appreciated and making a difference.

Thanks again for getting in touch.

Kirsten
