What I liked
the total lack of urgency,sic
What could be improved
up to this point,most things
Anything else?
have used this facility befor,so I thought that I would update my progress,or should I say lack of it.
Iwas admitted into the A & E on the 29th May 2010,where I was observed[I think] for aprox 24hrs,then had surgery, and then taken to ward 309,the treatment was poor and food abysmal.
I was discharged on 7 June,my previous comments cover this period.
The hospital reply suggested that I contact the PALS dept,I did[but dont expect a reply, have been told by a GP that the only way to get a reply from them is if you write to them using recorded mail.
My 6 week follow up appointment did not materialise until 14 weeks,at this time I was informed that the surgeon whom I was attending does not do the follow up surgery that I was promised, and was referred to another surgeon, and am now languishing at the bottom of another waiting list,it is now 7 months since I was discharged, and have just about given up all hope of this hospital ever doing anything that resembles offering a service,an absolute shambles.AppointmentsFollow upReferralsSurgeryFoodServiceSurgeons
