The pre-op department is very efficent.The surgery was excellent but after that........

What could be improved

After the surgery I never saw the consultant again, only registrars who couldn't answer my questions. The aftercare was non existent and I am still trying to negotiate my way through the things I still need to get back to normal.

Anything else?

There is no management on this site. They apparently sit in their offices in Wigan and ignore this site. Other than the surgery everthing else is appaling. Three hours to be seen in outpatients. There isn't enough room to cover all my complaints. e.g I was sent home at 7 in the evening. If my wife had not gone and found a wheelchair I wouldn't have been able to get out.
