As a recent visitor to the Royal Gwent, I was shocked to hear the number of complaints from patients on ward D5 East, regarding the quality of the food that they were given.
Their main complaint was that the food was always stone cold, and I am trying to make you aware of the situation as this clearly falls well short of the hospitals generally high standards.
I hope to hear from the patients on my next few visits that an enquiry has been launched and that improvements are being implemented.
