This hospital has absolutely changed my mind on thenational health system, absolutely appalling! I've had 8 different doctors none of them knowing the problem, one of them coming to consult me and not even knowing I'd had a CT scan or what medication I'm on. Also I wanted to sleep the nurse wouldn't turn the lights off baring in mind it was 1am in the morning and the people in the room both had the TV blasting till 2:30am. I'm appalled by the lack of care and duty of care in this hospital, I did urgent blood tests they took over 4 hours to come back and I did a urine sample and nobody had even checked it, still there the next morning.

We are disappointed to learn of your poor experience of Russells Hall Hospital.

It is our intention for all patients to receive the most appropriate care for their needs in a timely fashion so we apologise for the lack of knowledge shown by some of the medical staff treating you.

We would also like to apologise for the noise from the television set in the ward area. Rest is an important part of recovery so we apologise for the noise disrupting sleep.

Rest assured, we take all feedback seriously to improve the patient experience and your comments will be brought to the attention of the matron for Urology.
