"Emergency admission, diagnosis and treatment..."

About: St Mary's Hospital (HQ) / Accident and emergency

Husband taken to A & E after severe pain and black vomit. V. speedy ambulance arrival. Only short wait before blood tests indicated kidney and heart trouble, needing emergency operation, performed that night.

All doctors and nurses highly caring and efficient and, above all, good at communication. Saw urology and cardiology specialists who explained implications of serious condition clearly and honestly. Could not fault any aspect of the handling of this episode. Very many heartfelt thanks.
