I am a new patient at the surgery and I had my first visit this week.
What could I say?I joined the practice after reading all the good reviews and I was hugely disappointed. My experience was very similar to a person's who wrote the review "20 years of indifference".
I have been suffering extreme PMS and hormone problems (which makes my Raynaud's even worse). I felt the doctor was very dismissive and pushy. They tried to convince me to take antidepressant.Okay, that might help with my mood that time of the month but what about all the migraines, pain in my ovaries, insomnia etc..I experience these problems only before the big day, otherwise I am absolutely fine so I don't find antidepressant convenient and when I told the doctor there are highly addictive, they just simply said no,there are not.Funny enough I work for NHS but I didn't want argue with them that I have different experiences.
I thought they could give me some advices about diet/supplement which might help me get through that week of the month. When I mention to the doctor, they just interrupted and said "They are not going to work." The doctor made me feel stupid to even think that my diet could help to regulate my hormones or taking extra Mg+B6 could control my anxiety. The doctor didn't even want to discuss as an option. No, just take the antidepressant and go..
I will definitely not coming back here.I would not get any support and I would only feel foolish so there is no point.
Thank you
