I am a diabetic and was left for 20 hrs with food or recent injections. Had to be put on a glucose drip prior to op to stop me going into a hypo! When the staff were questioned they denied they knew I was diabetic, although it is written in red on the front of my notes. Not happy,, i’ll Say,, ask the anaesthetist.
