Had my surgery today and I'd just like to give a huge thank you to all the staff, particularly the nurses on my ward.
They were all welcoming, friendly with myself and each other which was real nice and relaxed atmosphere to be in.
Looked after me well and make sure I had food and drink afterwards and more pain relief. Although I don't want to get this individual into any trouble because this was a lovely person, hens why I'm not mad or going to mention names even if I remembered it.
I'd just like to mention a comment in which I recieved from a member of staff about my self harm scars on my arm. I understand they probably didn't do this intentionally however I would just like to think you could make staff a bit more aware/ understanding of this situation as I would hate to thing of another patient feeling upset over a comment about something like that.
"Welcoming and no messing around."
