"Not a good experience"

About: Croydon University Hospital / Accident and emergency

(as a staff member posting for a carer/relative),

My daughter and son in law had to take their severely disabled son  to A & E at 4.45 recently as his school said he had an abscess at base of spine.  Couldn't go to GP as they had no hoist.  He actually got seen at 9:45 so he was left sitting in his wheelchair for 5 hrs bearing in mind what he was there for.   Not a good experience.
