"Care and attention"

About: University Hospital Wishaw / General Medicine (Wards 5 & 8)

(as a service user),

I was recently a patient in ward 10 for 3 weeks,and for those 3 weeks I saw what the staff had too put up with at times with some of the patients,but they were brilliant everyone of them.

Nurses,Cleaners,Tea ladies,how they did there job with a smile on there faces I will never know.They are well under paid and over worked,they have to be congratulated on the work that they do.

I don't know about other wards,but the staff of ward 10 are the best of the best.And I would like to thank them for the care and attention I received.

Thank you very much for your kind words. Working within a hospital environment can be demanding and to have patients like you recognising the hard work our Domestics put in with cleaning and serving teas is just marvelous.

I will make sure the staff in Ward 10 receive your comments - I am sure they will be very grateful for the time you have taken to let us know how well we cared for you were while you were with us. I hope you continue to get better.
