What I liked
The operation was cataract surgery on my left eye and my recovery period was less than 24 hours.
Every member of staff in this department was brilliant. They all demonstrated care and consideration to help put me at ease. The person who took care of the pre-op visit explained everything clearly and answered my many questions readily. I went away feeling happy and assured.
On the day of the operation, the reception nurse was very busy but they found time for everyone and made it clear they were there to help in a calm, caring way. Everyone I came into contact with that day was introduced and made sure that I was comfortable and at ease throughout the operation and until I left for home.
The surgical team did a great job and the result so far is first class.
They all worked as an integrated team and are a credit to FPH.
