My husband was admitted to Torbay as an emergency.
He received exemplary care by every member of staff who attended.
The understanding, respect and attention he re dived was second to none.
He was treated kindly and his needs were paramount.
Sadly, the team encountered insurmountable difficulties and the prognosis was not good.
The surgical team talked us through the available options and gently guided us through our last goodbyes in theatre.
My husband died peacefully and we were able to spend time with him at the end.
We have nothing but praise for the whole team.
