My mother was admitted to ward 52 recently presenting with an UTI and delirium. I look after mum twenty four seven. The last place I wanted mum to go was hospital owing to previous experiences. However she stopped eating and drinking and was going downhill fast I was at the end of an exhausting week of hardly any sleep thankfully my doctor said she would have to go in. Hours of waiting for an ambulance then the same in casualty the following day she was transferred to Langlands building.
From the beginning I could't fault this ward run by Angela. Her staff are worth their weight in gold. Mum was so ill, these caring professional staff couldn't do enough every time she needed the toilet or whatever never once did I see them hesitate their teamwork and care was phenomenal.
Mum is coming home now thank you so much from all the family Ms Angela take a bow what a pleasure to watch your caring staff just to be able to go home in the knowledge that our mum and gran was in their very caring and competent hands . Special mention to Pauline and Danielle thank you ladies keep your standards high so enthralled by your kindness and care.
Thanking you for everything.
