My mum was recently referred by her GP to CAU. The care and attention given was fantastic. Her obs were quickly taken and we were taken through to rapid assessment where we were greeted by an extremely lovely nurse (Diane I think). This Nurse was very attentive and listened carefully to my mum's symptoms. After seeing a lovely doctor who asked lots of questions and carried out a very thorough examination we then saw Dr Wilkin. He was so patient and carefully explained his reasoning behind his decision to discharge my mum to us both. He ensured my mum had enough medication for the next few days until she would be well enough to see her GP. This was our first time to CAU and it was a pleasant experience and not intimidating or frightening at all. All staff were very attentive. Thank you for taking care of us.
