A brief background: Awaited three months for a telephone assessment and unfortunately missed the call due to bad signal without being provided with a window of opportunity to call back or re-arrange. I got through to someone who advised that i was discharged as it was processed as 'DNA' when there was only one call, no voicemail and no second attempt.
I was transferred between offices, spoke to multiple people and was advised to wait three days to call back if there was no news as they were told to send an email to the clinic and await further instruction.
I called back as there was no news for three days and i managed to get through to a staff member, who i must say was absolutely a pleasure to speak with, they were so helpful in rearranging my appointment and provided me with a lot of reassurance. I even received a letter of confirmation the following day which i never received the first time. They were very efficient and friendly and I hope that who ever needs to get through to this department in future will get through to more people liker this who have such a pleasant and helpful working manner and not treated like another number like some of the other people i had got through too previously.
I've been in a lot of pain and discomfort for years and all i wanted to do after waiting for three months for a phone call was to re-arrange it and now i have.
Thank You.
