"About my 25th weeks check up"

About: The Royal London Hospital / Maternity

I am really disappointed about the service today I have received by the midwife, it was my 25 th weeks 4 days check up but they didn’t check my weight, my temperature and tried to check my baby heart beat with a midwife who press so hard the machine to check my baby’ Heart beat and they just hard one beat and then they didn’t listen anything or didn’t check for 2nd time if everything is ok. Anyway after I said I had high palpitations and dizziness last week and I went to my gp they asked me to do blood test for thyroid and I asked the midwife that as I saw the maternity book 25 th weeks check up, I suppose to have few blood test so can I go for thyroid test as well as my gp want me to do, but the midwife said we can’t do it because this kind test is expensive and we don’t do here and I said I have a feeling that my underwear is always wet and I tried to check the smell but it’s not smelly and it’s not urin and I have thick discharge as well, the midwife said well we cannot say anything about it and I have bad backache and I can’t walk bcz I feel pain in my down below, they didn’t check and ask to go for a check nothing just bcz I show my concern and I force them to do my glucose test, then they suggest some blood for anemia check up. I am really very upset that what’s going to me or with my baby during delivery if the NHS is worried about their budget not about patients health????

This visit made me depressed!
