"First time here"

Wasn't to impressed with my baby sons treatment here, following a transfer from another hospital stayed on s1 for ward nurses and assistants not very friendly, the doctors felt didn't listen to my views , and the feeling my baby wasn't right they kept telling me it was viral however , they discharged him at night with a tempteture that wasn't responding to nurophen and kept on getting high temp readings as it kept creeping back up,some silly nurse took his monitor he was on away and quoting he doesn't need this he only has a cold to which I found rude and assuming another time I asked for some milk for my baby and a nurse said when I get a min and was just talking to another nurse about dogs when my baby was crying for a bottle!! anyway got him home and the same night he got worse with his temp hitting 42 he was distressed so I took him to a different hospital where he was very dihydrated after he was refusing food they admitted him gave him Ivs and fluid he's on the mend now but I'm upset he was discharged at night with a temp they shoupd have kept him in to monitor I've heard great things about the children's and hear of some great work they do helping kids but unfortunately I felt my little boy was totally overlooked so would never return at least now he's on the mend following the right medication
