I understand
Gp services feeling the crunch of budget cuts and having to meet QOF targets but withholding necessary treatment from patients because the practise is trying to save money is atrocious.
I went to the GP to get a referral for a second opinion for my eczema as the treatment I have been given for the last 2 years has not been helpful.
I was told I cannot have one but can have a blood test and chest X-ray to check for lymphoma or sarcoidosis even though previous tests have been ok.
This practise is not patient centred but has a partanalistic approach towards treatment.
Doctors googling conditions and misdiagnosing because they don't know what you have/trying to save money and refusing to refer to secondary services is very bad
This practise needs to be refviewed by the GP council or governing body.
"GP service is appalling and unprofessional"
