I attended the walk in centre this morning with my daughter. I was very concerned to overhear the conversation at the desk between the receptionists and a patient of Asian origin. The receptionist asked him to spell his first name, and because it such a long name, she laughed and asked whether she could shorten it. Upon writing his second name, which again was a long name, the fellow receptionist suggested she might need to turn over the paper
I found these comments very offensive, and although the gentleman laughed these off, I do not consider them to be appropriate.
The care and treatment my daughter received from the doctor was excellent and very emphatic.
"I felt the comments were not appropriate"
