(as the patient),

I have just completed my 8 week cardio rehab course in Hairmyers. Before attending I was very cynical about this course, how wrong I was proved. The physios,nurses.both auxiliaries and cardiac even including the receptionists were outstanding. The young Physio, Donnough, (sorry about the spelling)  was so enthusiastic and knowledgeable. The two sisters Mary and Faye were so professional  caring and enthusiastic. Sister Mary spoke to me after my initial diagnosis of bypass surgery which I felt was  reassuring and comforting and helped me accept what was happening.

The whole experience of the NHS makes me wonder where all the so called bad press comes from. 

If anyone has to get the treatment I had to get I can only hope they get the same people who helped me through.

The treatment in the Jubilee was outstanding led by a very professional surgeon Mr Butler who effectively saved my life. 

Even the lady who served the meals in the Jubilee (from Balloch) was so caring and persuaded me to eat when I was not hungry.

I am delighted to hear that you are making an excellent recovery and that your experience of NHS services and specifically of cardiac rehabilitation has been such a positive one.

Thank you for your lovely feedback in relation to your care. I will be sure to pass on your compliments to Mr Butler and his team, who cared for you. I have spoke to the Catering Manager and she has established who the lady from Balloch was and she will pass on your kind words to her.
