"A wonderful place - we went for breastfeeding..."

An absolute gem of a place. I gave birth at Princess Anne hospital by a planned c section as my growth scans showed my baby was big. It was a great and positive experience. After 1 night on the ward then 1 night in a side room we were ready to go to NFBC. We booked a private room and were made to feel so welcome.

We were mainly there to learn about how to latch our daughter and breastfeed her as I really wanted to.

The staff were incredible particularly one who even took our daughter for 2 hours so I could sleep but also helped me most of the night to get breastfeeding and supply going. This member of staff was also absolutely brilliant as was everyone else.

The meals here are delicious and all the other couples we met were lovely. My husband went home at night which suited us as I wanted him to be well rested when we got home.

Our 2 night stay was just what we needed. I would recommend for everyone to go here whether to give birth or for some care afterwards. I had been scared of having a section but the whole experience was amazing. I had been worried about being able to breastfeed but 1.5 weeks later we are feeding so well.
