About: King's Mill Hospital / Accident and emergency

I was referred to A&E by my doctor yesterday with chest pains. The staff at Kings Mill are brilliant, I first saw a lovely nurse who gave me an ECG within 20 mins of me being there. The nurse saw me later on in the waiting area to have my bloods taken and came to ask if they’d found what was wrong yet. The care in this hospital is second to none. The nurse who took my blood was very gentle. The doctor who I saw twice in A@E was lovely. The nurse on the day ward was brilliant. The member of staff who took my x Ray was also lovely. Even though you could clearly see they were rushed off there feet they never took that out on the patients. They couldn’t do enough for you. I left after seeing the final doctor with antibiotics and an inhaler and a referral back to my GP. The doctor explained everything to me after a thorough investigation of all the tests. I can not fault this hospital at all. I wish I could remember the names of everyone that saw me yesterday to thank them personally for the excellent care they gave me. I hope they all get to see this review so they know what a wonderful job I think they all do. I feel loads better this morning thanks to them. Thank you so much.
