What I liked
I attended A+E, treated by the charge nurse who was kind, efficient and hard working and sorted me out swiftly, the nurse was very skilled. He appeared to be running the dept as well, and keeping the stream of ambulances processing quickly.
Some staff deserve a gold star and I don't know how or why they are allowed to put up with the abuse from some patients and visitors who are very rude and threatening to staff- surely if they don't want to be there they could/should go home or elsewhere.
What could be improved
Some of the nurses appeared to be hanging around the desks and not working hard, chatting to each other, on computers (not work related as you can see the screens) and drinking coffee which doesn't seem professional whne there are elderly patients who need care and other staff are flying around the place doing all the work.
Anything else?
