"My father's stay in BACU"

About: St Peter's Hospital / Cardiology

My father was in Birch ward for just over two weeks

He was rushed into ressusitation by ambulance due to his breathing (the ambulance people were excellent and arrived at my parents home within 5 minutes of the call to the emergency services) and then transferred to Birch ward and put on oxygen

Whilst in hospital my father had a pacemaker fitted and thereafter an operation was carried out to sort out his enlarged stent

All the consultants and staff were excellent during his stay in hospital and they were most attentive to him at all times

I have nothing but praise for St Peter's Hospital and more often than not people berate the NHS but my father and the rest of the family has no complaints whatsoever and you should be proud of your hospital and all its staff

Thank you very much

Thank you for your lovely comments, which we have shared with the team. We are really pleased to hear that your father was well looked after and we are, indeed, very proud of the Birch Ward team and all our ASPH colleagues.
