"Worst Hospital Ever"

About: Queen Elizabeth Hospital / Neurology

The only reason I’m giving this hospital a one star is that the A&E doctor was great if it was a review about the doctor individually I would give them a 5 star. Everyone else is awful I had to discharge myself when I was in hospital there 2 months ago as the place is poorly run and the consultants are awful. They try to do the absolute bear minimum and they have no sense of empathy. The ward was poorly run and they could not confirm a day that I would have an MRI and get discharged they were just planning to keep me there. I even had a nurse come up to me and about to set up to take blood from me before they realized I was the wrong person.

Getting treated as an out patient has been just as awful. I had an appointment with the neurologist today (which they tried to make me wait till next year for). The neurologist partially called me a liar during our consultation and did not assess me properly at all. I was suppose to be there for an hour but I was out within 20 mins. No one in their right mind wants to be ill. And if they did they would soon reassess themselves as dealing with the NHS and Queen Elizabeth hospital is horrific enough to make anyone pretend that they are better.

If anyone gets assigned this doctor please request another one.

Disgusting hospital. I’m asking my doctor to refer me somewhere else.

Sorry I’m not the type of person to do something like this but people have to know as this is their health on the line.

As the Service Manager for Neurology, I am deeply shocked and saddened to hear you have had such a bad experience whilst attending your neurology outpatient appointment.

I would very much like to talk this through with you further to be able to feedback to the Consultant concerned, and to ensure this does not happen again.

I am sorry that you feel the need to be referred elsewhere.

Please contact me on 0208 836 4250 to discuss further.
