"Amazing Maternity Unit"

I gave birth in August 2017 to my first baby. From making the first phone call and all the way through labour and birth, all staff were amazing. So genuine and understanding. I cannot thank my midwife and all the maternity unit staff enough. My midwife was so reassuring and just genuinly there for me and my partner. I had an overwhelminf feeling of fear as many people do before giving birth.. but i could not have been in better hands. Everything i needed was there. I really could not have wished for a more supportive team. Thank you so much to everybody on the unit.. we will be forever grateful!

Firstly, congratulations on the birth of your baby. I hope everyone is happy and healthy.

I am so pleased to hear about your experience within our Maternity Services at York Hospital, it's great to hear that your midwife was reassuring and there when you needed her most.

We are very proud of our staff and we know that they always strive to provide the best service to our patients; it's great to get feedback from our patients reflecting this.
