"Discharged without passing urine"

About: Warrington Hospital / Accident and emergency

Excellent care received from Junior Doctors in A&E including the nurses. Disappointingly the Consultant on duty told the JD to discharge me without actually reviewing me. I left the hospital having been dehydrated without checking for any ketones in urine. Needless to say continued to vomit when I arrived home and had ketones +++ in urine. I would advise any patient attending with dehydration should provide a urine sample. There was no output as little input ! Could not even keep a sip of water down.

Countess of Chester next time! I forgot am just a number and you have no beds !!

I had to seek urgent medical attention the following day as a result.
