"Visited AMEU"

About: Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust - Queen's Medical Centre Campus / Accident and emergency

My GP sent me along to the AMEU last Tuesday. I was welcomed by a really friendly Receptionist. The Staff were very efficient and made me feel at ease.

I thought it was a lovely gesture with the Refreshments. Very impressed with the way the tests were done and the posters up on the wall explaining all the procedures and in what order they would be carried out.

I have to say I hadn't visited the QMC for quite a while and felt the toilets, floors etc were much cleaner.

I was told I may have to stay in but thankfully didn't. I would like to thank everyone who dealt with me and what an excellent job they do.

Morning. Thanks for your feedback. We really appreciate it. It’s good to know that the improvements we made to patient information, in direct response to feedback from patients, is proving useful to patients and that you consider cleaning standards to be improved since your last visit.

We’re glad to hear your overall experience of our Acute Medicine Receiving Unit at QMC was a positive one.

Kind regards

Helen Malia,

Matron, Emergency Admissions
