About: Royal Bournemouth General Hospital

I want to share my appreciation and thanks for the high quality care I have experienced whilst attending various appointments over the past weeks at Bournemouth Hospital.

The staff on the EPU treated me with sensitivity and kindness, providing compassionate support. Access to support and advice was easily available both verbally and written info. They are running a very efficient service and are lovely caring staff.

In day surgery again all the staff were very friendly and treated me with dignity and respect at all times, from the Anaesthetic, doctors, theatre & recovery nursing staff. In particular a student nurse who looked after me when I was there.

No one wants to be in the hospital however in the circumstances, the caring and experienced staff made everything a lot easier.

As you say it is never easy being in an unfamiliar environment like a hospital and having the little touches of care and compassion can make such a difference in difficult circumstances.
