My husband was admitted to the medical admissions unit in December 2015, in the week he was there he never made it onto a ward and was infact discharged 4 times. On his last discharge he was told that he could go abroad on holiday on Boxing Day. A doppler was finally arranged which revealed a blocked carotid artery. He had a phone call to get himself to Wythenshawe Hospital and underwent 5 hour surgery on Christmas Eve 2015.
Very poor treatment by SHH.
Wythenshawe were much better
