I came with my daughter to A&E after she had a serious car accident which I believe she was lucky to walk away from.
the Police and 3 eye witnesses agree.
she rolled her car 3 times on the motorway injuring her back, knee and head.
we were kept waiting for hours to see a Dr even though other people were coming in after us and seeing the Dr before us.
when we finally managed to see a Dr they told my daughter that they assumed she was a whiplash claim and therefore thought she would be a quick 5 minute consult, which is why I think they waited to see her just before they had to go.
I feel that my daughter was not given a proper check over due to this. Their colleague must have entered the consulting room at least 3 times, tapping their watch to remind the Dr that they had to go.
I feel my daughter did not receive the care she is entitled to and as a circumstance is still in agony with her back a month later which is disrupting her daily life and causing her constant pain. we expected a scan or at least an x-ray but received medication and nothing else which obviously has not worked.
