On my way back from Exeter by train in May ,around Liskeard i had a faint ,the train manager stopped the train and kindly waited until the Paramedics arrived. I was then referred to the Ambulatory unit at Treliske and numerous blood tests and scans were undertaken over the following weeks, until around August
I was referred to the Acute Cardiac unit .After further blood tests and scans an angiogram revealed the narrowing of a main artery . In November a successful coronary angioplasty was arranged. During this whole period the attention from doctors and the wonderful nurses was exemplary, and although always working under pressure they always found time for you.
