I was transferred from Walsall Manor Hospital in June after they diagnosed me with Cancer on my Brain. After further scans,i.e. CT,PET scan and a biopsy they called me back to have Radiotherapy which was a huge success, however 3 months later in Dec 15 3 dormant small tumours began to grow. I was given Chemotherapy every 3 weeks from Feb till Jun 16. A scan in July showed a 99% success. I have lived with many side-effects and difficulties including seizures which are now under control and I am still monitored by a Consultant and fellow consultants on a regular basis at the Cancer Centre in the Heritage building. There is much more but I admire and respect everyone involved in diagnosis and treatment and ongoing support in both hospital buildings. The Cancer centre consultants, receptionists and all sisters and nurses have been wonderful and caring as well as inspiring. My respect, value and affection is greatly appreciated and I can not thank the Queen Elizabeth enough.
