"Dissapointed"

Attended Canada house a few weeks ago but may as well not of bothered. The nurse said I ‘ didn’t look depressed’ and I just got sent away with a gp referral and 2 weeks of medication which I was already on. I was referred to Canada house due to several suicide attempts and a stay in a psychiatric hospital due to severe problems with my mental health. And mental health is something you cannot see so to say I didn’t look depressed I found very frustrating. I got sent a copy of my notes from the assessment and the nurse clearly wasn’t listening to what I was saying as it’s full of incorrect information about me. People continuously encourage you to ‘ seek help’ for mental health problems but I found Canada house no help what so ever and a waste of my time!! Also judging from other reviews people are having similar experiences so it’s very worrying that somewhere that is meant to help people is actually just causing them more stress.
