"Amazing, long-term treatment at ARI"

About: Aberdeen Royal Infirmary / Dermatology (Skin Conditions)

(as the patient),

I've just come to the end of 8-weekly infusions on Ward 406 at Aberdeen Royal Infirmary.  I've been having these infusions for years, and the team on 406 has been truly wonderful.  I've been ill with Pemphigus for eleven years and the treatment I've received on 406 has been amazing.  My experiences on other wards have shown me how lucky I have been to receive such exceptional care from exceptional staff.

The nurses have been the most supportive, hardworking, caring, and friendly - Mary and Sobia should never be let go!  The doctors have been innovative, caring, wise and friendly too. My consultant, Dr Meredith, is an absolute star.

I'm still going to receive treatment, but no longer on Ward 406, so I felt it was time to give them the kudos they deserve for the life-changing and life-enhancing work they do.

Dear Kate in the Big Orange Chair,

Thank you so much for taking the time to detail your experiences on ward 406. The team will be delighted to hear your feedback. It is so nice to hear that Sobia and Mary have been able to make what must have been a difficult situation with 8 weekly visits more bearable. I really hope you are well on the way to recovery.

Thanks Again

Kidn Regards

Maxine Callow
