About: Queen Alexandra Hospital

What I liked

Entrance to the hospital good and welcoming

Discussion with the consultant.

What could be improved

The signs and directions to the various departments need to be written in larger letters and positioned in more places.

The OPD waiting area was not welcoming. The sitting area is uncomfortable and confusing.

A notice on the wall to indicate waiting area for each consultant would be helpful.

Clinic staff should be trained to calling out patients names in a dignified manner not screaming out names

Instead of the cattle market approach of getting all patients in the clinic at the same time it would be benefitial to all to give patients an individual appointment time

If there is a delay in seeing the specialist it would be appreciated if people could be informed that there will be a delay. A white board with consultants name and next to the name the amount of delay could be written.AppointmentsApproachableDignitySignsWaiting AreasConsultants
